It’s a small world, even if you’re a world famous comedian. Currently in the thick of resurrecting Monty Python at the O2 Arena, Eric Idle ran into a mate whilst out for a stroll. He Tweeted the encounter and the result is a movie exclusive as it features none other than Sacha Baron Cohen in costume for new comedy GRIMSBY…

Speaking of coincidence, it appears Idle was also dressed somewhat sportily, so he could well end up with a cameo in the football flick. The story (co-written with WRECK-IT RALPH’s Phil Johnston) sees Cohen’s dozy hooligan working alongside his long lost secret agent brother, played by Mark Strong. As well as a heavyweight cast including Ian McShane and Gabourey Sidibe the production has comedy chops to die for with Johnny Vegas and Rebel Wilson in support. The star’s wife Isla Fisher is also involved. With the surprising choice of Louis Leterrier (THE INCREDIBLE HULK) as director, the film enters through the turnstile Jul 2015.
