Dark & Alluring First Trailer For Daniel Radcliffe In ‘Horns’

After staring into the accused face of the Devil, we’ve got the official first trailer for the Daniel Radcliffe-starring HORNS, directed by Alexandre Aja.

Based on the novel by Joe Hill, HORNS follows 26-year-old Ig Perrish (Radcliffe), who wakes up with an evil hangover to discover that his girlfriend (the ever brilliant Juno Temple) has been raped and murdered, but Perrish is the main suspect. There’s something else going on though as now he’s also sprouting horns from his head but they have a useful power, one that makes people confess their sins.

I haven’t read Hill’s book but the trailer paints a beautifully dark portrait and is set to open this Halloween, which seems perfect for the material. I’m also glad to see Radcliffe continuing to try and move away from the old days and this time he’s complete with an impressive-sounding American accent!  This one has been adapted by Keith Bunin, the man who’d previously worked on In Treatment but this is definitely his first big screenplay.

It’s a twisted thriller by the looks of it and also stars Kelli Garner, Max Minghella, James Remar, and Joe Anderson. There was a teaser around and about a few weeks ago but now, thanks to SDCC, here’s your full trailer:
