Disney’s super successful FROZEN will continue to beguile audiences – but in book form.

Random House will publish a series of chapter books continuing the story, aimed at younger readers. Penned by Erica David, the series will follow Princess Anna and Queen Elsa’s new relationship. They’re being marketed as an ideal read for girls aged six to nine.

Anna & Elsa #1: All Hail the Queen and Anna & Elsa #2: Memory and Magic are published in January 2015, with more to follow.

FROZEN, the 3D animated story of a princess’ quest to find her estranged sister in a world of eternal winter, has been hugely popular. It’s voiced by Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, Josh Gad, Santino Fontana and Alan Tudyk.

Claire Joanne Huxham comes from the south-west, where the cider flows free and the air smells of manure. She teaches A-level English by day and fights crime by night. When not doing either of these things she can usually be found polishing her Star Trek DVD boxsets. And when she can actually be bothered she writes fiction and poetry that pops up on the web and in print. Her favourite film in the whole world, ever, is BLADE RUNNER.
