Happy Friday! Who’s The Tallest Marvel Hero Of Them All?

Height. It’s a funny old thing; it’s potentially the one thing that we can’t really change about ourselves. Yes if people want to appear taller they can stick on some heels (not that easy for the males) but how does one make themselves shorter? I’ve never really been overly bothered about how tall people are but my other half has a strange fascination with finding out the height of various actors and actresses. Strange I know but it’s a pretty good knowledge to have as it occasionally comes in handy in a quiz environment. From our extensive research on imdb I know that Amanda Seyfried is absolutely tiny at 5’2 ½ and Jared Padalecki is well on his way to giant status at 6’4”.

When it comes to superhero films the fans tend to be the harsher critic than the critics, they point out all the ways in which the film version of the character is different to the source material. We’ve never really heard anyone complaining about their height though. From the handy cheat sheet below you can see that the ‘real’ Wolverine should only stand 5’3”, actor Hugh Jackman who has made the role his own is 6”2! The Storm in the comic world is a mighty 5”11, not the rather average 5’5” of actress Halle Berry.
