He runs really fast. Like lightning you might say. So it comes as no surprise to see The CW taking a simple and dramatic approach to its new promotional poster for The Flash…
Gaining favourable advance reviews, the series brings the DC Comics character to a new audience, with Grant Gustin (a name worthy of a superhero identity of its own) as serial speeder Barry Allen. The series is closely tied to Arrow, with a crossover being rushed onto the slate. Interestingly Allen is described as an “assistant forensics investigator”, so looks like his regular persona is going to have plenty of opportunity to get up to his neck in trouble.
As you’ve no doubt observed, Greg Berlanti’s show will zig-zag out of the starting blocks on October 7th.
