First Look At Vin Diesel In ‘The Last Witch Hunter’

He was the voice of everyone’s favourite tree, Groot, in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, plus RIDDICK, xXx, FAST AND FURIOUS…oh you know, endless action-packed films and to top it all off? He’s a bloody nice chap as well. Next up for the mighty Vin Diesel is Breck Eisner’s THE LAST WITCH HUNTER, alongside Rose Leslie, Elijah Wood, Michael Caine, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson and Julie Engelbrecht.

Diesel will play the last remaining witch hunter, who’d a thought it, and we’ll be watching him battle against an uprising of witches in modern day New York, as you do. The picture was shared on his loyal Facebook page and comes with the caption “13th century Kaulder…“, which suggests we’ll see him fighting those pesky witches for a lot longer than just the ‘modern day’.

It’s written by Cory Goodman, who also wrote the ridiculously silly, but entertaining, PRIEST alongside Melisa Wallack who’s something of a newcomer but wrote DALLAS BUYERS CLUB and the screen story for MIRROR MIRROR – slightly different styles! Here’s your look:
