Dave Stewart’s ‘Zombie Broadway’ Heading To Big Screen

Zombie Broadway

While we would be the first to say that comic book adaptations need to slow down at the moment…this is one we can definitely excuse! It has been revealed that ZOMBIE BROADWAY will be heading to the big screens, and it has got some pretty big people attached.

The graphic novel, created by Dave Stewart, David Harris and Christine Schenley, tells the story of a zombie outbreak in New York City that can only be stopped by the song and dance of the Broadway stage. Dracula creator Cole Haddon will pen the script, while Jonas Åkerlund is set to take on directing duties.

Stewart did reveal back in 2012 that ZOMBIE BROADWAY would be happening with Åkerlund attached to direct, but it has only been recently that the project has had the push forward with THE BUTLER producers Pam Williams and David Jacobson attached. Stewart is of course known for being the not Annie Lennox half of Eurythmics, so we know just how much of a weird and wonderful spectacle this is going to be. We can’t wait!
