It seems that the bigwigs over in Hollywood are intent on remaking all of Tom Hanks’ back catalogue in some way or another. Fresh off the news that the 1988 film BIG is to be developed for television, news reaches THN today that producers are now looking to bring his 1984 adult comedy BACHELOR PARTY to the small screen over at ABC.
The pilot will apparently follow three different couples in various stages of their relationships.
J.J. Philbin and Josh Malmuth will executive produce the show, along with Jake Johnson, Renate Radford, Jason Winer (Modern Family) and Max Winkler (CEREMONY). Winder and Winkler will direct the series between them.
