We’ve been so absorbed in STAR WARS all day that we’re struggling to pull ourselves away to concentrate on other movie stuff that is happing on this bright Black Friday. Finally we’ve pulled away from it to bring you some news on that other big 2015 release, JURASSIC WORLD.
Firstly, director Colin Trevorrow has been speaking to Empire magazine and breaking down that fabulous trailer that we saw online earlier this week. The trailer managed to raise a few questions with a lot of movie fans, and it appears that Trevorrow has started to answer them – starting with the big one; ‘we we be seeing a T-Rex in the movie?’
“You bet your ass you will.” Is his response. What??!!
He also touched on the new, genetically altered dinosaur in the film, where he had the following to say:
“This new creation is what gave me a reason to tell another Jurassic Park story. We have the most awe-inspiring creatures to ever walk the Earth right in front of us, but for some reason that’s not enough. We’re always hungry for the next thing, and those who profit from it are always looking to feed that hunger. The focus groups want something bigger than a T-Rex. And that’s what they get.”
Don’t worry, as we said above, we’re getting a T-Rex. There’s more over at the Empire website.
