Idina Menzel, the actress who plays the character of Elsa in the hugely popular Disney movie FROZEN, has potentially let slip that a sequel to the phenomenally successful animated movie is in the works at the Mouse House.
Speaking in a Telegraph interview the star commented on rumours of a sequel and a stage musical, as well as a six-minute short due to show in cinemas next month. She told the British news paper “That they’re all in the works.”
It doesn’t look like the singer/ actress will not be involved in that stage show that’s planned however. Nope.
“Not the stage show – I don’t know what will happen with that – but the movie hopefully. We’ll see. I’m just going along for the ride,” she added.
FROZEN opened across the world last year and went on to take a huge $1.2 billion in receipts. It is the fifth highest grossing movie of all time.
