Not content with a lack of disaster movies, Mr Dwayne Johnson is bringing it back – Faults and all – as SAN ANDREAS looks set to save some souls after an Earthquake hits LA.
From those folks at Warner Bros and directed by Brad Peyton, Johnson takes centre-stage as a helicopter pilot who teams up with his ex-wife (Carla Gugino) to go out there and be awesome, wait, save their daughter (Alexandra Daddario) from the disaster. These shots show us a little bit of him running, a great E.T. cake and Instagram perfection as our star read his script in silhouette – Yes, there’s a script!
I know I’m being initially cruel about the whole affair but Dwayne Johnson is made for this type of role and is a bloody nice guy at the same time. SAN ANDREAS will hopefully take us back to the glory of the 1980’s flick, where you can have fun in a thriller and do some good for people at the same time.
