We’re very excited to share with you the first ever clip for Alex Garland’s upcoming directorial debut EX_MACHINA, starring Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson and Alicia Vikander.
This snippet introduces us to Caleb (Domhnall Glesson), a 24-year-old coder at the world’s largest internet company, who wins a competition to spend a week at a retreat with the company’s reclusive CEO, Nathan (Oscar Isaac) – Who looks completely different once again! Described as an intense psychological thriller, Caleb will end up taking part in an experiment with the world’s first true artificial intelligence, housed in the body of robot woman, Ava (Alicia Vikander).
Not only does this contain some of the finest up and coming actors, there’s also a very exciting premise, check it out:
EX_MACHINA opens in the UK on 23rd January, 2015. It’s also written by Garland you’ll also know him as the writer of THE BEACH, 28 DAYS LATER, SUNSHINE, DREDD and more great stuff.
