Watch: Moody New ‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron’ Trailer

The much-anticipated second trailer for the latest instalment of Marvel’s superhero team up par excellence has hit the small screen, Hulk-smashing its way into the College Football Playoff National Championship coverage on ESPN. What better place to showcase the mayhem I suppose.

The action is underpinned by bittersweet piano as divisions within the group are exposed and decidedly grim developments transpire. Check out the fresh batch of carnage below:

We also get a glimpse of ape actor extraordinaire Andy Serkis, who does not look happy, the reasons for which will be revealed courtesy of writer/director Joss Whedon.

Starring Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson with Don Cheadle, Paul Bettany, Stellan Skarsgård and James Spader as sentient superbad Ultron, the movie lands in cinemas May 1st.
