Last night saw the 21st annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) awards take place. The elite members of both film and television arrived in their finery to see who had won the coverted statues. Eddie Redmayne did the UK proud as he picked up the award for Best Actor. Meanwhile Julianne Moore added another trophy to her cabinet for her performance in STILL ALICE and BIRDMAN took home the big award for cast in a motion picture.
Highlights from the television portion include Orange is the New Black scooping two awards and our very own Downton Abbey getting the ensemble cast prize. Read the full winners below, did your favourite win? Are these results an indicator of how the BAFTA’s and Oscar‘s might play out?
