Sure, SNOOPY AND CHARLIE BROWN: THE PEANUTS MOVIE might be the longest film title in a while, I’m assuming that they’re 1: Making sure the public know it’s about Snoopy and Charlie Brown and 2: Making sure people don’t think it’s a random movie about peanuts, but from the first trailer it looks like the heart of Charles M. Schulz very much remains.
It opens 21st December in the UK and first, here’s a little official synopsis:
Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus and the rest of the beloved “Peanuts” gang make their big-screen debut, like they’ve never been seen before, in state of the art 3D animation. Snoopy, the world’s most lovable beagle – and flying ace – embarks upon his greatest mission as he takes to the skies to pursue his arch-nemesis The Red Baron, while his best pal, Charlie Brown, begins his own epic quest.
The Peanuts gang have a special place in my life and are glorious in the world of animation, so I’m hopeful for the best. Choose your favourite:
