TFF 2015: THN Heading To NYC For Tribeca Film Festival

TFF_Logo

That’s right folks – THN are heading off to NYC next month to bring you all the news, reviews, WTF’s and OMFG’s from the 14th annual Tribeca Film Festival that will be held from April 15th – 26th.

Founded by Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal, and Craig Hatkoff to celebrate NYC as a major filmmaking centre and to reinvigorate and enliven the Tribeca area after 9/11 through storytelling, TFF draws over 400,000 people annually to its screenings, panels, talks and free community events across 12 days – that’s more than double the attendance turn-out at the BFI London Film Festival over the same period.

Presented by AT&T, this year’s festival will host screenings of feature-length and short films, curated conversations and master classes, Storyscapes (Tribeca’s transmedia section), the Tribeca/ESPN Sports Film Festival and the second edition of Tribeca Innovation Week.

TFF 2015 will also be launching a new, 150,000 square foot state-of-the-art creative hub that will bring filmmakers, artists, audiences, partners and VIP’s together in the one area.

If you’re in New York or heading that way mid-April and want to experience the festival first hand, TFF offers a number of different passes and packages as well as single ticket sales for the general public that you can check out here.

So stay with us over the next few weeks as we bring you the all the latest news from TFF 2015 as well as the films selected this year in each screening section, in our dedicated Tribeca blog.
