It appears that hell hath no fury road like a warlord scorned – and boy do we want to join the ride!
George Miller’s latest Mad Max mayhem is gearing up to be a road race to the death like none before it – fast, Furiosa-ly driven and downright bat-shit crazy.
Plot hole drive-bys be damned. MAD MAX FURY ROAD may have a single linear storyline (Immortan Joe [Hugh Keays-Byrne] has a harem of youthful ‘Wives’, Furiosa [Charlize Theron] flees Joe’s tyrannical citadel with ‘The Wives’ and crown jewel Splendid [Rosie Huntington-Whitely] in tow, Joe wants ‘The Wives’ back), but its well developed, unique post-apocalyptic characters like the fanatically half-mad Nux (Nicholas Hoult) and action sequences live-scored by Coma-Doof Warrior (iOTA) from the back of an attack vehicle, gives the live-action film an excitable, pulsating rhythm.
