Exclusive Clip From Darren Paul Fisher’s ‘Frequencies’

frequencies-1-578x299

Darren Paul Fisher’s FREQUENCIES has been doing rather well on the film fest circuit, so we’re pleased to share this clip so you can get a taster.

This dystopian sci-fi romance is available digitally from April 13th and to buy in the UK on April 20th, it’s (obviously) set in the future where your kids ability to succeed in life is determined at a young age and based on their own personal ‘frequency’ which dictates just how lucky they will be. In the process of testing one particular group, it transpires that Marie (Lily Laight – Love Rosie, Les Miserables) has an impossibly high frequency, making her the luckiest girl in the world. At the same testing, Zak (Charlie Rixon) is discovered to have a frequency so low it measures as a negative number.

Following them through growing up, Zak (Daniel Fraser – The Patrol) becomes desperate to alter their frequencies so that he and Marie (Eleanor Wyld – Misfits, Black Mirror) can be together…no more spoilers!

Also, teenage Zak is played by Dylan Llewellyn, with Marie portrayed by Georgina Minter-Brown. Watch the clip and make it yours over the next two weeks:

FREQUENCIES is available as digital download on April 13th and on DVD on April 20th.

Watching this for the 2nd time, consecutively after viewing for the first time. It makes so much more sense! I felt like Zak at first watching. Now, moreso like Theo. This is cerebral and…beautiful. After this posting, I need to find the Mozart piece which Theo’s father (Hello daughter. Hello father.) played during his “antidote” speech. That way it can be played and this piece of art will come to mind.
