While JURASSIC PARK and it’s two sequels’ main villainous dinosaurs were arguably the velociraptors and the giant T-Rex, this summer’s JURASSIC WORLD will see the genetically enhanced Idominus Rex as the main monster that everyone is up against.
While we’ve had some clips and indeed the first trailers that feature the new hybrid, we haven’t really seen a clear shot of the new dinosaur. Until now.
The following image was posted to image sharing website Imgur a little while ago, and is a complete head-on shot of the Idominus Rex in all of its glory.

JURASSIC WORLD is released this summer, and will star Bryce Dallas Howard, Judy Greer, Chris Pratt, Ty Simpkins, Jake Johnson, Nick Robinson, Irrfan Khan, Vincent D’Onofrio, BD Wong, Omar Sy, Katie McGrath, Lauren Lapkus, and Andy Buckley.
