Anna Kendrick says her fans turn up at her house expecting her to have a “f***ing butler”.
The ‘Pitch Perfect 2’ star found it hilarious when two fans unexpectedly knocked the door of her home and were shocked to find the Hollywood starlet answered it herself.
She told The Guardian newspaper: “It was weird because they don’t think you’re going to answer your own front door.
“And I don’t think of myself as someone who has a f***ing butler. It was as though they were saying, ‘Well, you answered the door!’ And I was like, ‘I thought you were UPS.’ ”
Anna – who played Jessica Stanley in the ‘Twilight’ franchise – has had many odd gifts from fans delivered to her address, including a fake pair of diamond earrings.
She previously said: “I got [a gift] with, like, a really long letter about how he really felt like we should be together, and if I would just give him a chance, and he didn’t want to do it over social media because he thought that would pressure me because it was public … he [wanted] to be a gentleman. And he, uh, sent me a pair of diamond earrings.”
But Anna admitted she never keeps anything her crazed admirers send her.
She added: “I did go and check. And I was just like, these have to go into the trash. I can’t. I cannot. I cannot wear them. I can’t give them to someone. It’s too weird. If the teddy bear goes in the trash, these go in the trash. Just on principle. So, I had to throw them away. If you send something to my house, it’s going in the trash.”
