Two new posters for ‘London Has Fallen’ have arrived

I’ve got to admit that I was one of the few to favour the Channing Tatum/ Jamie Foxx Die-Hard-In-The-White-House movie White House Down over Antoine Fuqua’s Olympus Has Fallen, but the latter was the clear winner and the biggest hits with fans upon its release. So much so that a sequel to the film is set to arrive in cinemas this October. Gerard Butler returns in the lead role, alongside a strong supporting cast in Morgan Freeman, Aaron Eckhart, Charlotte Riley and Angela Bassett.

We’ve just received two new posters for the England-set action-epic, titled London Has Fallen, which you can see below. First up, the synopsis.

[quote_box_center]The sequel to the worldwide smash hit Olympus Has Fallen begins in London, where the British Prime Minister has passed away under mysterious circumstances. His funeral is a must-attend event for leaders of the western world. But what starts out as the most protected event on earth, turns into a deadly plot to kill the world’s most powerful leaders, devastate every known landmark in the British capital, and unleash a terrifying vision of the future. Only three people have any hope of stopping it: the President of the United States, his formidable secret service head (Gerard Butler), and an English MI-6 agent who rightly trusts no one.[/quote_box_center]

Here are the posters. One features St. Paul’s Cathedral, and the other the Houses Of Parliament and Big Ben. Both have clearly seen better days.
