Paul Feig tries out some new British swear words in this hilarious ‘Spy’ interview

Spy

Coming to cinemas this coming Friday is the new Paul Feig (Bridesmaids, The Heat) directed comedy Spy. The movie revolves around Melissa McCarthy’s character, Susan Cooper, who is forced to step away from her desk at the CIA, and go undercover to prevent a global disaster.

Feig has been out on the promotional trail, and this past week caught up with new web app 6Tribes where the interviewer, friend of the site Simon Thompson, ran a few new ‘x-rated’ swear words by him to try and inspire him for his next movie.

‘Spunk trumpet’ is certainly a new one on me.

The film looks to spoofing every single spy movie ever made, but in Simon’s interview, Feig revealed a very different potential source for inspiration.

“I’m obsessed with the Carry On movies.”

“Would I make one? Hmmmm, it is tempting… but with Sid (James) gone I don’t know if you could and without Kenneth Williams too… “ Feig added.

Jason Statham, Jude Law, Rose Byrne and Miranda Hart also star in Spy, which opens in cinemas from Friday 5th June.

Feig’s next movie will be an all-female Ghostbusters movie which is being set-up over at Sony. Be great to see some ghostly spunk-monkeys up in that, right?

6Tribes is the latest innovation from the creator of the iPlayer and is available to download from the app store in the UK now.
