Daddy’s Home trailer: New comedy reunites The Other Guys stars in a war of the dads, due this December.
To celebrate Father’s Day, Paramount Pictures International have released the first trailer for new comedy Daddy’s Home, pitting The Other Guys co-stars Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg head-to-head.
When a mild-mannered man (Will Ferrell) becomes stepfather to his new wife’s children, he can’t believe his luck. The kids have some reservations but he’s sure they’ll come around and he’s always wanted to be a dad. Unfortunately for him, bad-boy daddy Dusty Mayron (Wahlberg) suddenly returns to their lives, threatening his new role in the family and leading to a battle for the kids affections involving new pets, motorbikes, treehouses and what looks like a drunken attempt at Basketball.
With some decent gags on display, the Ferrell–Wahlberg double-act is again looking like a winner and you can find the Daddy’s Home trailer below.
Directed by Horrible Bosses 2’s Sean Anders and John Morris and penned by Brian Burns, Daddy’s Home features a cast including Linda Cardellini, Thomas Haden Church, Paul Scheer, Hannibal Buress and Alessandra Ambrosio.
Daddy’s Home is currently due for release on 25th December 2015.
