Fox release early tease of the new X-Files series starring David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson. A six-part series returns in January, 2016.
New X-Files series will run from January
Fox have just released a twenty-second look at the new six-part special series of the new X-Files series which will air in January 2016. The promo was aired during Wayward Pines in the US last night.
There’s not that much to see here, but we do get a glimpse of Mulder and Scully on screen very, very briefly.
David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson return in their iconic roles for the special run from series creator Chris Carter.
The show, which ran for nine seasons from 1993, also spawned two stand-alone (ish) movies. Mitch Pileggi will return in the new series as Walter Skinner and William B. Davis is back as the Cigarette-Smoking Man.
