It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia creator Rob McElhenney has been hired to direct a movie version of the famous Minecraft games. McElhenney, who also wrote and starred in the hit show, is officially on board as director, which was confirmed by Minecraft makers Mojang just yesterday.
The Minecraft movie has been in development for quite some time, and although we have no more news other than the addition of McElhenney, we’re excited that the film is moving forward with an exciting talent.
