Heads up Doctor Who fans and remember to… run! Today we’ve got the new official image from The Magician’s Apprentice, which is episode one from Doctor Who series 9, which sees Peter Capaldi return alongside Jenna Coleman for another exciting caboodle and concoction of stories for our favourite Time Lord.
The BBC’s flagship series returns to our screens on 19th September with a prequel episode airing on the 15th September, which we’re currently assuming will be on the BBC website or similar. What’s particularly interesting about this year is it’ll be the anniversary of its comeback in 2005 and so – like the 50th Anniversary year – we’re hopeful of a few extra treats as well as the return of Michelle Gomez and Ingrid Oliver.
