A film we’re very much looking forward to later this year is the Johnny Depp led Black Mass, the true story of crime boss James ‘Whitey’ Bulger, that is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on September 18th.
IMDB have just debuted eight new Black Mass posters from the upcoming film, featuring Depp, along with Joel Edgerton, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jesse Plemons, Kevin Bacon, Dakota Johnson, Corey Stoll, and Peter Sarsgaard.
Rory Cochrane, W. Earl Brown, David Harbour, Julianne Nicholson, Adam Scott and Juno Temple also star in the film, which is being released by Warner Brothers.
In 1970s South Boston, FBI Agent John Connolly (Joel Edgerton) persuades Irish mobster James “Whitey” Bulger (Johnny Depp) to collaborate with the FBI and eliminate a common enemy: the Italian mob. The drama tells the true story of this unholy alliance, which spiraled out of control, allowing Whitey to evade law enforcement, consolidate power, and become one of the most ruthless and powerful gangsters in Boston history.
