The first images of Black Panther on the Berlin set of Captain America: Civil War have been posted online over at ComingSoon. The images show Chadwick Boseman‘s stunt-double performing a precarious stunt on wires on top of a huge building in the city.
Black Panther will be getting his own movie in 2018, but the character is properly introduced in Marvel’s first movie of 2016, along with Tom Holland‘s Peter Parker/Spider-Man. Also appearing in Captain America: Civil War will be Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America (obviously), Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/Falcon, Paul Bettany as The Vision, Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton/Hawkeye, Don Cheadle as Jim Rhodes/War Machine and Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch. Basically, all of The Avengers. Also showing up are Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter/Agent 13, Daniel Brühl as Baron Helmut Zemo, Frank Grillo as Brock Rumlow/Crossbones, William Hurt as General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, and Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man. Oh, and Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark/ Iron Man will also be front and centre.
Captain America: Civil War picks up where Avengers: Age of Ultron left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.
Captain America: Civil War will hit cinemas next May. Click here to see all of the new set images at ComingSoon.net.
