Coming to our TV screens in the UK this September is Shane Meadows‘ third season in the superb This Is England series. This Is England ’90 is potentially the last of the spin-offs from the 2006 film This Is England, which is a shame, but we can’t wait to see where writers Meadows and Jack Thorne take us with the new season.

Despite what we said above about this being the last one, some of the cast have apparently heard potentials for another run in the future.
“If the stories are there, then why not?” says Joe Gilgun, who plays Woody said to The Guardian. “And it’s an institution now, and you wouldn’t want to ruin that. So there might be a ’92, I’ve heard talk of it… But I’m sort of prepping myself for this being the end. And I’m devastated. Devastated.”
Shane Meadows says of the 4-part mini-series: “We will see an enormous transformation in the lives of our cast over these final four stories as Shaun writes his final chapter with the gang he loves.”
