Film Friday Episode 1 [Aug 28th. 2015]; Straight Outta Compton

Film Friday is The Hollywood News‘ brand new weekly film show which will feature the week’s brand new releases in the UK, as well as looking at the pick of the pics currently showing at your local multiplex.

In this, our first episode – call it our pilot if you will – our featured movie is the brand new N.W.A. biopic, Straight Outta Compton, a movie that opens across the UK from today, and one which we awarded five stars to earlier on this week. During the show, we get to talk to the cast of the film, as well as Ice Cube, one of the founding members of the ground-breaking hip-hop outfit.

In this episode, we also take a look at 45 Years, a new British drama starring Charlotte Rampling and Sir Tom Courtenay, action film Hitman: Agent 47, and the new Zac Efron movie We Are Your Friends.
