The US trailer for Macbeth, the upcoming version of the classic Shakespeare story, has just been released. Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard star in the new adaptation from Justin Kurzel (Snowtown).
The film got some pretty fantastic reviews at Cannes this year, and we’re super excited that the film finally gets a release later in the year.

The trio – Fassbender, Cotillard and director Kurzel – this week started up work on a new project together; the adaptation of the video game Assassin’s Creed, which Fassbender also produces.
Watch the brand new trailer for Macbeth below. The film opens in a limited run Stateside on December 4th, with the UK getting it a lot sooner on October 2nd.
