Star Wars Episode VIII to start filming in Ireland this month!

Rian Johnson is to start filming Star Wars Episode VIII in Ireland later this month, according to reports. The sequel will be released in the spring of 2017, and with continue on from the events that occur in the J.J. Abrams directed Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which is now going to be released on December 17th in the UK, a day earlier than the US.

Gareth Edwards is currently hard at work shooting the first Star Wars spin-off story A Star Wars Story: Rogue One, which will be released six months earlier than Episode VIII; in December of next year.

Benicio Del Toro has been confirmed to star as the main villain in Episode VIII, and some of the cast of The Force Awakens are also expected back for a new adventure.
