‘The Vatican Tapes’ are uncovered in the first trailer

Ever since The Exorcist projectile vomited it’s way onto the big screen filmmakers have been obsessed with creating films about demonic possession. Next month sees the latest entry in the ever expanding catalogue released. Starring Michael Peña, Dougray Scott and Djimon Hounsou, The Vatican Tapes tells the familiar tale of priests investigating the potential possession of a young girl after a stint in a coma.

Released just in time for Halloween The Vatican Tapes will also feature on the all day October Film4 Frightfest event in London’s Prince Charles Cinema on 24th October. See for yourself whether it has the potential to be good by giving the new trailer a whirl.

The Vatican Tapes arrives in cinemas and On Demand on 30th October, 2015.
