Batman V Superman rating revealed as PG-13; in line with Man Of Steel and every previous Batman movie.
Batman V Superman rating
This shouldn’t come as a huge surprise, but Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice has received a PG-13 rating in the US from the MPAA. The rating comes with the additional tagline: For “intense sequences of violence and action throughout, and some sensuality.”
We don’t know who is involved in said scenes of sensuality, but maybe that when Bats and Supes are done with all of their ass-kicking of one another, they work things out in a very unpredictable way.
Batman V Superman rating
What is quite surprising is that the film is already rated, which means that it is 100% completed, meaning the WB will start to release some juicy new promotional material ahead of that distant March release.
Here’s the synopsis:
Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.
Henry Cavill returns to the role of Clark Kent/Superman, while Ben Affleck is Bruce Wayne/Batman. The film also stars Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane, as well as Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, and Jeremy Irons as Alfred. Zack Snyder directs.
The film will also feature appearances from Aquaman, played by Jason Momoa, and potentially Jared Leto’s Joker, though we’re doubtful on that front. Ben Affleck’s Batman will appear in next year’s DC spin-off Suicide Squad, a film where Leto’s Joker definitely appears. That movie will release in mid-August, with Wonder Woman and Justice League movies lined up in the years that follow.
Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice will release everywhere on March 25th 2016.
