Ian McShane in John Wick 2: The ‘Sexy Beast’ actor joins Keanu Reeves and Common in the action sequel.

We announced earlier on today that Common is all set to be the bad guy in John Wick 2. Well, we have further news on this exciting sequel, as we’ve just heard that Ian McShane is also going to appear in the Keanu Reeves-led sequel over at Lionsgate.
McShane has been nailing it as of late, and was so, so good in the last season of the hit crime show Ray Donovan.
McShane will return as Winston, the owner of ‘The Continental’, a hotel for assassins, where Wick reports to in the original.
We don’t know exactly what the sequel is going to revolve around, but Keanu recently revealed some of the plot.
I think we have a really good premise, and it’s an organic premise. It’s basically — to me there’s John Wick and then there’s John. You know, John is the married guy whose wife just died, and that five years of his life. Then there’s John Wick, who’s the mythical assassin. In this, John Wick’s past comes and infiltrates John’s life and John Wick, in a way, has to fight for John.
Chad Stahelski will be directing, with fellow John Wick 1 helmer David Leitch going off to direct Charlize Theron in The Coldest City.
Shooting starts very soon on John Wick 2. Expect this towards the end of 2016.
