The first trailer in the third movie in the modern film series of Star Trek, Star Trek Beyond, will apparently be attached to next week’s big release, Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
News reaches us via The Hollywood Reporter that the Justin Lin directed and Simon Pegg/ Doug Jung scripted sequel will join X-Men Apocalypse as the confirmed trailers for the big release.
Star Trek Beyond stars Anton Yelchin, Bruce Greenwood, Karl Urban, Simon Pegg, Zoe Saldana, Chris Pine, John Cho, Zachary Quinto, Sofia Boutella, Idris Elba, and Joe Taslim, and will be released in cinemas on July 22nd, 2016.
The iconic Star Trek brand also celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2016.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in UK cinemas on December 17th, and US cinemas on December 18th.
