The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 has remained at the top of the UK box-office for the fourth week in a row, making it the only film to do so since February 2013. Tom Hooper’s Les Miserables was the last film to achieve the milestone, and Mockingjay Part 2’s UK box-office total now stands at £25.5million.

Internationally, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 has grossed $564.6million since opening worldwide on November 19, 2015.

The blockbuster franchise has taken audiences by storm around the world, grossing more than $3 billion at the global box office. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 now brings the franchise to its powerful final chapter in which Katniss Everdeen [Jennifer Lawrence] realizes the stakes are no longer just for survival – they are for the future.

This week sees the release of the first Star Wars movie in over a decade, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, so we’re not expecting Jennifer Lawrence and co. to make it five weeks in a row.
