To celebrate its upcoming release, we have an Ip Man 3 exclusive clip for your viewing pleasure this Bank Holiday Monday. The film stars Donnie Yen and also features a powerhouse performance by former world heavyweight boxer Mike Tyson, and will arrive in UK cinemas from next month.
Donnie Yen (upcoming Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: The Green Legend, Ip Man, Ip Man 2) ignites the screen in a return to the role that made him an icon – Ip Man, the real-life Wing Chun grandmaster who mentored Bruce Lee.
In this explosive third installment of the blockbuster martial arts series, when a band of brutal gangsters led by a crooked property developer (Mike Tyson) make a play to take over the city, Master Ip is forced to take a stand. Fists will fly as some of the most incredible fight scenes ever filmed play out on the big screen in this soon-to-be genre classic.
It was reported many months ago that Tyson would star opposite Yen in Ip Man 3, and in just a couple of weeks we’ll be able to see this legendary showdown on the big screen.
Wilson Yip, who helmed the first two installments in this hit franchise, returns to direct the new movie, which will arrive in UK cinemas on January 15th, 2016.
