New Batcave photos: Concept art from Batman V Superman show off the Caped Crusader’s new hideout and control station.
A bunch of new Batcave photos from the upcoming Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justicehave been revealed. This is our first look at Batman’s (Ben Affleck) new hideout in the 2016 movie, one of which gives us a new look at Jeremy Irons‘ Alfred.
“[Batman] represents human beings, mortal men,” Affleck tells the Entertainment Weekly, who debuted the new Batcave photos. “In a world of Flashes and Aquamen and Supermen, there needs to be that guy. It’s interesting that? he became the ?leader of the Justice League in the books — I’m not sure how that’ll play out here — but his humanity is also an asset.”
Irons, who is getting a huge exposure with this project, the forthcoming High-Rise and the late-2016 video adaptation of Assassin’s Creed, also spoke about his role as the iconic butler in Zack Snyder’s sequel. It seems Alfred will be a little different to how we’ve seen him before.
“Alfred is a lot more hands-on in our film than he has previously been,” Irons says. “He’s a bit of a grease monkey, and he’s very involved in the decisions Bruce makes.”
Here’s the official plot of the superhero movie, which will be flying into cinemas as the first big blockbuster of 2016.
Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.
Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, and Holly Hunter.
The film is released next March. Check out the new Batcave photos below.
