The new UK trailer for the upcoming drama Green Room has been released. We’ve got a little while until the film arrives in cinemas later this year, but trust us, this film is awesome.
Altitude Film Distribution and Picturehouse Entertainment will release the film in UK cinemas on May 13th, 2016, and we got a chance to see it at last year’s London Film festival, where our own Sacha Hall said the film was “terrific and violently entertaining.”
Here’s the synopsis.
Down-on-their-luck punk rockers The Ain’t Rights agree to a last-minute gig in a backwards Oregon roadhouse. The gig soon takes a sinister turn as the band members stumble upon a grisly murder scene and find themselves targeted by a ruthless club owner and his associates, determined to eliminate all witnesses.
From the internationally acclaimed filmmaker Jeremy Saulnier (Blue Ruin), Green Room is a nerve shredding thrill-ride with a thick vein of dark humour, featuring a gripping ensemble performance from Patrick Stewart, Anton Yelchin, Imogen Poots, Alia Shawkat, Joe Cole, Macon Blair and Callum Turner.
