Mark Ruffalo, Oscar-nominated for his turn in next week’s big UK opener Spotlight, is currently in the country promoting the thrilling drama, and along the way he stopped by at Empire magazine to talk about his next big Marvel adventure, Thor: Ragnarok, in which his ‘Hulk’ appears.
Speaking the magazine, Ruffalo commented on what we can expect from Thor’s third big-screen solo adventure. It sounds like we’re in for a bit of a road movie. Yes, a road movie.
“There’s a little bit of Midnight Run, with Grodin and De Niro”, Ruffalo said.
“I feel like that’s kind of where we’re heading with this relationship between Thor and Banner”, he added. “It is a universal road movie – that’s where we’re heading”.
“It’s not where you’d think it will be, so it’s not your classic road movie but it has that structure, I think”.
Thor: Ragnarok is gearing up for a shoot starting very soon with a release date set for November 3rd, 2017.
