The second xXx movie didn’t exactly set the world on fire, but xXx: State Of The Union star Ice Cube may be returning for a the third movie, all according to Moviehole.
The site says that Cube is being sought to reprise his role of Darius Stone in the planned sequel, who will be a lot more fun this time around. A source told Moviehole that Stone will “very funny, [have]lots of great lines and he gets in on some terrific action sequences.”
Shooting is set to start next month with Vin Diesel, Deepika Padukone, Conor McGregor, Samuel L. Jackson, Jet Li, Tony Jaa, Nina Dobrev and Ruby Rose starring, and D.J. Caruso directing. xXx 3 will release in 2017.
