New Deadpool clip: Ryan Reynolds features in new look at the upcoming movie.
We’re now officially in the month in which Deadpool lands in cinemas, and today we can unveil a new Deadpool clip for your viewing pleasure. Ryan Reynolds has just completed a visit to the UK promoting the upcoming superhero movie, which officially lands in cinemas on the 10th February – which is next week!
We’ll bring you the new Deadpool clip, titled ‘Superhero Landing,’ in a second, but first, let’s recap the synopsis.
Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
Deadpool originates from The New Mutants #98 comic book from Fabian Nicieza and artist/writer Rob Liefeld, which was released in February 1991 – nearly 25 years to the day of the release of the movie. This isn’t the first time that Ryan Reynolds has played the role – he portrayed the character in the 2009 film X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and while the film didn’t go down too well with critics, the character certainly did.
In the comic books, Deadpool has also made appearances in such as The Avengers, Daredevil, and Heroes for Hire. Should this film be successful, which we’re hoping it will be, who knows where he’ll pop up next.
In other Deadpool news, the film has also just secured a 15-certificate in the UK. The film has been passed uncut with the rating, which has been given for strong bloody violence, strong language and sex references.
Morena Baccarin, Gina Carano, T.J. Miller and Ed Skrein also star in Deadpool. As we said, the film arrives on February 10th, 2016. Watch the new Deadpool clip below.
