Chris Hemsworth in Ghostbusters: A new image reveals Hemsworth’s secretary in the upcoming reboot, which lands in cinemas in July.
We have your very first look at Chris Hemsworth in Ghostbusters, plus a bunch of more new images from this summer’s big movie from Paul Feig. Katie McKinnon, Leslie Jones, Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy, who play the new team of Ghostbusters, also feature in the new images, which you can see below.
Sony Pictures will release the film in theatres this July, and we’re really hoping that they have a trailer ready for us very soon – maybe during this weekend’s Super Bowl?
You can see Chris Hemsworth in Ghostbusters below, as well as the other pics. Andy Garcia also stars in the film as the Mayor of New York City, Michael K. Williams plays a character named “Hawkins,” Matt Walsh is“Rourke,” and Neil Casey plays the film’s villain.
There’s no official synopsis as yet, but we’ll obviously bring you that as soon as we have it. We did find this on WikiPedia though:
Erin Gilbert (Kristen Wiig) and Abby Yates (Melissa McCarthy) are a pair of unheralded authors who write a book positing that ghosts are real. A few years later, Gilbert lands a prestigious teaching position at Columbia University, but her book resurfaces and she is laughed out of academia. Gilbert reunites with Yates and others when ghosts invade Manhattan and she and her team have to save the world.
That synopsis is obviously not official, but just gives you an idea for what we can expect come July 15th, 2016, which is when the film will hit cinemas.
