John Wick was one of the complete surprise releases of last year. The film starred Keanu Reeves as the ultimate assassin who was dragged back into New York’s criminal underground after a home invasion. It was fun, frenetic and oh so stylish, we were instantly smitten and of course were over the moon when a sequel was announced.
Filming has been underway since the end of last year and now we can share both the new title and the US release date. Rather than being called John Wick 2 it will instead henceforth be known as John Wick: Chapter Two. More importantly it will arrive on 10th February 2017, meaning that there are less than 365 days until we can once again see Reeves’ remarkable gun-fu.
Plot details are still being played close to the chest. What we do know so far is that rapper-turned-actor Common is on bad guy duties, and at least some of the action will take place in Italy.
Keanu Reeves will travel to Rome to kick some Italian ass as JOHN WICK: CHAPTER TWO drops 2/10/17.

The release timing is a bold choice as the film will find itself up against the triple threat of Fifty Shades Darker, The LEGO Batman and The Mountain Between Us.
Keanu Reeves will return to slay the bad guys in John Wick: Chapter 2 on 10th February 2017.
