One of the best live music and film events taking place in London is the live orchestra series that the Royal Albert Hall put on. With a series of events planned for 2016, this year is set to be the best yet.

Indiana Jones is heading for the Royal Albert Hall next month, and the iconic venue is holding a special 35th anniversary screening of Steven Spielberg’s action classic, Raiders of the Lost Ark, from Wednesday 7th to Saturday 12 March, with John Williams’ legendary score performed live and in full.

It will be the first time a complete Williams score has ever been played on the Hall’s famous stage. The shows will see John Williams’ spectacular score played live on stage by the 21st Century Orchestra as the film is screened in full.

This UK premiere of ‘Raiders’ follows The Godfather, Ratatouille and Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, all of which screened last year. The venue has further screenings of films like Gladiator, Jurassic Park, Aliens and E.T. The Extra Terrestrial planned for this year.

There are still some tickets left for Raiders Of The Lost Ark, and for the other films listed above. Head on over to the Royal Albert Hall’s website to book yours now.
