We loved Kingsman: The Secret Service here at The Hollywood News, and are delighted that the sequel will go into production later this year. We’ve already revealed that Julianne Moore may be joining the Matthew Vaughn directed follow-up, and now it looks like Halle Berry may be signing up too.
According to Deadline, the X-Men actress is in talks to play the head of the CIA in Kingsman 2, and the word is that her deal is for two movies.
Taron Egerton, who will be seen in next months superb Eddie The Eagle, will return for the lead role of Eggsy, while Colin Firth may also have a part in the movie, which is written by Vaughn and Jame Goldman.
Shooting kicks off very soon for a 2017 release.
