The Enfield haunting is one of Britain’s most notorious hauntings and provides the source material for The Conjuring 2. Obviously (given its name) a sequel to The Conjuring, the film again places James Wan behind the camera, giving him his last chance to scare us before Aquaman.
Our heroes from the first film, Lorraine and Ed Warren (played again by Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson) journey to the other side of the Atlantic to investigate the strange goings on in 1970’s Enfield. This time they have to help a single mother of four as their family is plagued by malicious spirits.
Ahead of its release in June a new trailer has arrived online and points to some very spooky times ahead.
These events occur a mere few years after the duo helped out the Perron family; they both managed to survive their last supernatural encounter, but who knows whether both or either of them will survive the full run this time around.
The Conjuring 2 arrives in UK cinemas on 17th June 2016.
