The official synopsis for next year’s highly anticipated John Wick: Chapter Two has finally been revealed. We knew that the sequel was going to get a much more international feel, and that seems to have been confirmed via this synopsis, which arrives via Collider. Check it out.
Keanu Reeves returns in the sequel to the 2014 hit as legendary hitman John Wick who is forced to back out of retirement by a former associate plotting to seize control of a shadowy international assassins’ guild. Bound by a blood oath to help him, John travels to Rome where he squares off against some of the world’s deadliest killers.
So, to Rome we go for this action sequel. John Leguizamo, Lance Reddick, Bridget Moynahan, and Ian McShane return for the sequel, with Ruby Rose, Common, Peter Stormare, and Laurence Fishburne also coming along for the ride this time around.
The original John Wick was applauded by most of the team here at The Hollywood News, and I know we’re looking forward to seeing what director Chad Stahelski has in store for us. The film certainly has the cast to deliver an awesome flick, and Keanu Reeves is flying high once again in a stunning second wave to his superb career.
John Wick: Chapter Two has a release date set for February 10th, 2017. We can’t wait.
