New ‘xXx 3’ set video shows Vin Diesel and Samuel L. Jackson

Before Vin Diesel heads back to the Fast and Furious franchise as Dominic Toretto, he must finish up work on xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage. The star has just posteda new xXx 3 set video with co-star Samuel L. Jackson.

The xXx 3 set video, shared on Vin Diesel’s Facebook page, shows Samuel L. Jackson, who returns to the role of NSA chief Augustus Gibbons in the film, giving the reason for returning to the franchise for a third time – to kick Harrison Ford’s ass and overtake him at the top of the box office.

The third explosive chapter of the blockbuster franchise that redefined the spy thriller finds extreme athlete turned government operative Xander Cage (Vin Diesel) coming out of self-imposed exile and on a collision course with deadly alpha warrior Xiang and his team in a race to recover a sinister and seemingly unstoppable weapon known as Pandora’s Box. Recruiting an all-new group of thrill-seeking cohorts, Xander finds himself enmeshed in a deadly conspiracy that points to collusion at the highest levels of world governments. Packed with the series’ signature deadpan wit and bad-ass attitude, xXx: The Return of Xander Cage aims to raise the bar on extreme action with some of the most mind-blowing stunts to ever be caught on film.

xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage also stars Jet Li, Tony Jaa, Indian star Deepika Padukone, Nina Dobrev, and Toni Collette.

Here’s what Diesel said at the time of the commencement of filming on the project.
